Second ODI: Misbah eyeing comeback in series

TOP NEWS

Pakistan received a hammering 93 runs defeat at the hands of Australia in the first ODI at Sharjah. Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that the side needs good innings from the batsmen and will be eyeing to win the crucial encounter.

They also lost the Twenty20 game on Sunday by four wickets.

The green shirts are considering to make two changes to the side for the match. Sources have said that Asad Shafiq and Anwar Ali are likely to be replaced by Sohaib Maqsood and Raza Hassan.

Australia, on the other hand, have included spinnner Xavier Doherty in place of Mitchell Marsh. It should be noted that the Pakistani side struggled against the spin department of the visitors in the T20 as well as the first ODI.

The visitors are leading the three match series 1-0. Pakistan needs to win the second ODI to level the series whereas Australia will be looking forward to clinch the series.
