CAPE TOWN: Pakistan beats South Africa in photo finish match by 6 runs at Newlands, Cape Town, ARY News reported.

South African cricket team has replied strongly to the Pakistan’s total of 176.
South African openers were off to the flying start, scoring around 10 runs per over during the power play.

Hashim Amla played a sensible inning of 48 runs with the strike rate of 120 while Quinton de Kock scored 26.

Middle order batsmen JP Duminy and David Miller remained unbeaten at 47 and 22 runs respectively.

South Africa seemingly lost their way halfway through the chase, but some late-hitting heroics from JP Duminy kept the match alive till last over.

Shahid Afridi was the most successful among Pakistani bowler, he got 3 for 28.
Earlier, Pakistan elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Opening pair of national cricket team wasn’t able to show impressive performance as Ahmed Shahzad departed back to pavilion after scoring 9 while Nasir Jamshed made 19 off 19 balls.

Pakistan’s captain Mohaamd Hafeez along with Umar Akmal took the charge and posted a partnership of 102 runs, Hafeez scored 63 while Akmal made 64 runs.

Dale Steyn took 2 wickets off 37 runs in his 4 overs.
