Senate session called on Monday

ISLAMABAD: A session of the Senate of Pakistan has been summoned at 4pm on Monday, which will be chaired by the Chairman Raza Rabbani, ARY News reported.

According to details, the session will discuss overall law and order of the country, targeted killings and the situation arising from some recent incidents in Karachi.

Sources within the upper house told that the members may hold a debate on the newly enforced Cyber Crime Act, while some amendments could also be suggested in the law in order to address the reservations expressed by political parties.

Apart from the Cyber Crime Act, some other legislative articles will also be a part of the agenda for tomorrow’s session of the Senate.
