Senior PML-N leader’s flat at parliament lodges robbed

ISLAMABAD: Robbers on Monday made off with valuables from a flat of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Talal Chaudhary located in the parliament lodges.

According to police, robbers entered the flat through balcony, smashed the flat’s gate and walked off with all valuables including jewels, cash and mobile phone.

Police suspected that the muggers barged into the building by scaling its wall. No one was present at the flat at the time of crime, they added.

Talal’s brother reported to police about the theft. All belongings were disordered in the apartment when his brother reached there and subsequently informed the cops.

Police have initiated investigation into the incident.
