Senior PPP leader demands PM’s resignation

Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf asked the current Premier Nawaz Sharif to resign, ARY News reported.

Addressing a ceremony, Ashraf said that tactics are being used against politicians. He added that PM Sharif should think if he is putting himself into trouble by resorting to such means.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader said that he could not understand why his and Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani’s names were included by the federal government in the Exit Control List (ECL).

He stated that the federal government allowed the suspect of treason case former president Pervez Musharraf to travel abroad on the basis of fake medical certificate.

“PM Nawaz used to ask for the resignation of PPP prime ministers over corruption claims but why doesn’t he practice what he preaches,” Ashraf said.

Ashraf was honored with a doctorate from Sri Lanka’s International University for Complementary Medicine.
