Seven killed, several injured in bloodied KP polls

Despite all the claims, KP witnessed bloodied LB election on Saturday with seven lives lost due to shootings firing at different places and several injured.

Two people were killed due to firing in DI Khan, two more were shot dead during polling in Shekhan Banda area of Karak.

In Kohat, two persons were killed and two injured when unknown miscreants opened fire near a polling station.

A man was killed and two others injured due to a firing incident during vote count in Charsadda’s Sherpao union council.

Another shooting incident at a polling station injured six people in Teera Payaan area of Peshawar, while a candidate for a general seat was also injured Abbottabad in a similar incident.

A clash took place between two rival groups in Jamiar union council of Mardan, where a candidate was seriously wounded.

Scores of others were injured due to similar incidents in Malakand, Swabi and other areas.

In Peshawar alone, 25 injured were brought to the Lady Reading Hospital.
