Several including foreign suspects nabbed from twin cities

The security forces intensified their crackdown on criminals countrywide following barbaric Taliban attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School a week ago in which at least 148 people including 132 children were killed.

On Monday, law enforces raided a volatile Sohrab Goth neighbourhood in Karachi on a tip-off. However, witnessing arrival of police and Rangers, the terrorists opened fire on them. In retaliatory fire by the LEAs, at least 13 terrorists were killed.

In Lahore, security forces detained an Afghan national who was suspected of carrying out a foul play in the Punjab capital.

Similarly, key Taliban commander was arrested from Abbottabad and shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
