Quetta blast claims at least ten lives

QUETTA: At least 10 people were killed and around 35 have been reported injured in an explosion at Science College intersection at Jinnah  Road here in Quetta on Friday (today), ARY News

QUETTA: At least 10 people were killed and around 35 have been reported injured in an explosion at Science College intersection at Jinnah  Road here in Quetta on Friday (today), ARY News reports.

The explosion was also heard in the far flung areas of the city.

Police and Rescue teams have arrived at the spot.The injured are being shifted to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. Several of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.

Heavy contingents of Police and Levis forces have cordoned off the area and are collecting evidences of the crime.

According to security sources, four to five kilograms of explosives were used in the blast. The explosive device was planted in a cycle and was attached with a time device.
