Lamenting that the rulers of the country have been running businesses offshore, he demanded them to explain how this money was transferred out of country.

He said the issue of Panama leaks was not taken up by media or Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the prime minister by alleging others in his address turned the guns towards himself and forced people to respond.

Rejecting the judicial commission announced by the PM to probe allegations, the opposition leader said the House should be informed, even if during bad times, how was such a huge amount sent abroad.

“Was this money laundered or sent through some other way?” he questioned.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed said the government will land in trouble if a commission was not formed under a serving judge of the Supreme Court (SC).

On the other hand, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi also held a meeting with the opposition leader and both the leaders decided to adopt a mutual strategy on Panama leaks.
