Shah returns without inquiring worries of flood-affectees in Sukkur

SUKKUR: Opposition Leader Syed Khursheed Shah regardless of his advice to others returned to Islamabad without inquiring the flood-affectees about their hardships during his visit to Sukkur, ARY News reported.

Thousands of people have been affected due to flood in Sindh, but the provincial government could do nothing more than claims and visits by some members.

Opposition Leader Syed Khursheed Shah also visited Sukkur for his appearance before media and returned without meeting the affected masses.

Affectees complained that their representatives come but leave with inquiring them about their condition, questioning, “Do we have strapped bombs with us?”

Several bustees inundated in Katcha area and the masses were forced to move to other places to save their lives, but the opposition leader seemed satisfied with the measures taken by Sindh government.

In his talk with media, Shah suggested PM Sharif to visit Sindh but himself returned without listening to the worries of affected masses.

He also vowed to take up the issue of no visit by the PM to Sindh in the assembly.
