Shahbaz Sharif told the Prime Minister that a timely action by the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) foiled the terrorist plot. He said that the terrorists there were intended to carry out a major attack, but they were crushed due to effective intelligence sharing.
On this occasion, PM Nawaz directed the Chief Minister of Punjab for a search operation in Raiwind and villages around it and to monitor closely the suspected people.
He also directed to beef-up security on the eve of Youm-e-Ali and Eid ul Fitr and to make fool-proof arrangements in this regard.
Moreover, the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif told the Government of Punjab has also announced compensation for the martyred Elite Force man and the injured.
