Shahryar Khan appointed president Asian Cricket Council for two years

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan has been appointed as president of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for two years on Saturday during a ceremony of International Cricket Council (ICC).

The PCB chief was declared victorious in election of new ACC president organised in Sri Lanka.

He is eighth president of ACC, which represents 25 countries of the region. He would handle different tasks and activities during his tenure of two years.

Shahryar Khan has expressed ecstasy and said that all the cricket boards need to work together for the improvement of the game in the region.
