Kapoor, who is known for his comic roles in Bollywood movies claimed that he and his family were deeply annoyed over the rumours circulating on social media regarding his death.
Shakti Kapoor received a flood of calls and messages inquiring about his well-being. This was a reaction to a social media text that had gone viral.
The text maintained that the 56-year-old actor had died in a car crash on his way to Khandala.
I am tired of telling people that I’m not dead,” said an irritated Shakti Kapoor.
Later his son, Siddhanth Kapoor also rubbished all rumours of his death on Twitter. Besides Siddhanth, Shakti is also father to ‘Ek Villain’ actress Shraddha Kapoor.
It must be noted that other celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit had to go through the trouble of death hoax through social media in the past.
