DUBAI: Former Sindh local government minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Inam Memon was on Sunday admitted to a hospital in Dubai after his health condition deteriorated, ARY News reported.
On receiving this news, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah phoned him and inquired after his health. They also prayed for his early recovery of health.
Sharjil Memon informed the party leaders that doctors have advised him urgent medical treatment for his spinal cord issue until full recovery and have hospitalized him for undergoing complete tests and treatment.
It has been several months since Sharjeel Memon is residing abroad. He is wanted by National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Recently, he had announced to return to Pakistan and submitted an anticipatory bail in court as well.
On the other hand, President PPP Karachi Dr Asim Hussain is admitted to intensive care unit after he suffered cardiac pain.
