KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued the orders of maintaining the stay of ARY News till July 7, against the suspension of its license by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) – ARY News reports.

According to details, Justice Faisal Arab heard the petition filed by the PEMRA and the Federation in the SHC, against the stay granted to ARY News.

ARY News’ lawyers took the stance that PEMRA deliberately sent a notice in the evening on Saturday, so that no proceedings could take place.

At this, the court issued orders of maintaining the stay of ARY News against PEMRA’s decision of suspending the license for 15 days and adjourned the case till July 7.

After the hearing, lawyers of ARY News told that ARY News while abiding by the law, submitted its answer in the SHC at the earliest.
