According to details, Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamidi led Fajr prayers at Mansoora. JI emir Sirajul Haq, secretary general Liaquat Baloch and several other leaders, and scores of commoners offered prayers behind the top Muslim cleric.
On the occasion, Sheikh Ghamidi began his speech with Pakistan Zindabad [long live Pakistan], while the attendees in return raised slogans in favor of Saudi Arabia, as an expression of their profound feelings for the kingdom.
The Imam e Ka’aba in his address said that Saudi Arabia launched an operation in Yemen upon the request of elected Yemeni government.
He was confident that the Government of Pakistan and the masses here will back Saudi Arabia.
JI emir Sirajul Haq assured that Pakistan would not let any harm come to Saudi Arabia.
Later, the top Imam of Muslims led Zuhr prayers at Jamia Ashrafia, in the presence of several religious figures including Qari Hanif Jalandhari and Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi.
In his address with the people, Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamidi said that there is no difference between an Arab and a non-Arab.
“Saudi government has deep affection for the Pakistani people and it is proud of its brotherly ties with Pakistan,” he added.
