Sheikh Rasheed refers himself as a ‘suicide politician’

SAHIWAL: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed while addressing to the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif on Saturday challenged to end his rule over the country, ARY News reported.

During his address with a huge public gathering here, Sheikh Rasheed vowed that his hand may get chopped-off, yet he could not be separated from Imran Khan. He felicitated the participants of the PTI rally, saying that their struggle has yielded the resignation of Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

He also advised the Punjab CM, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz to make hurry in stepping down from their respective slots, for it will be as good as early for them.

Rasheed said that media exaggerated his speech delivered in Nankana Sahib, adding, “I again say if anyone has got guts to arrest Imran Khan, he should go ahead but also to be ready to face dire consequences of it”.

He said he is an ally of the PTI chairman and whatever Imran Khan will decide on November 30, he will second it.

The AML chief also bashed the Opposition Leader saying that Khursheed Shah is more loyal to the government, than the government itself.

“We have to get rid of this system and bring a system in which the youngsters will be at the fore-front”, he said while addressing the participants of the rally. “It is being more than 90 days, but the people are standing with Imran Khan with utmost determination”.

Sheikh Rasheed also referred himself to be a ‘suicide politician’, who is always carrying his coffin on his shoulders wherever he goes.

In reaction to his possible arrest, he asked the rulers to inform him about the time and place; he will voluntarily come to surrender himself before the police.
