Sher Ali’s allegations: Rana says matter will settle soon

FAISALABAD: Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah said on Monday that the prime minister has taken notice of Chaudhry Sher Ali’s allegations against the party and the matter will be hashed out soon, ARY New reported.

Talking to media here, the minister said differences are often found within major parties, however this is an internal affair of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

He said PM Nawaz Sharif has tasked the Punjab CM to resolve the matter and soon it will be hashed out.

In response to a question about local body (LB) elections, Rana promised peaceful and free and fair polls across the province.

On the other hand, defiant PML-N leader Chaudhry Sher Ali today claimed that by forming a new group of his party, he has prevented several members from joining Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

He said after failing to get party tickets, more than 75 candidates are now contesting the elections on with the sign of bucket – the one allotted to his group.
