SIBI: Rebel commander, six accomplices surrender

Juma Khan, a key commander of a banned group, along with six members of his group laid down arms before DIG Sibi Police Range Syed Iqrar Hussain Jaffery.

Commandent Sibi Scouts Col. Ahsan Raza Zaidi, Chairman District Council Malik Qaimuddin, Municipal Chairman Haji Dawood Rind and other government officials were present on the occasion.

The rebels after surrendering arms took oath on the holy Quran that they will not take part any act of terrorism in future and will play their role in the service of the country.

DIG Syed Iqrar Jaffery called the surrender of insurgents in Balochistan a good omen and advised them to educate their children.
