Sikh pilgrims arrive Lahore on Guru Nanak anniversary

LAHORE: Sikh pilgrims reached Lahore on Saturday to attend birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak-the founder of Sikhism.

Sikh pilgrims have arrived Pakistan to attend 548th birth day ceremonies of Guru Nanak.

Chairman Evacuee Properties Board Siddiqul Farooq warmly received Sikh pilgrims at Wagah railway station.

The pilgrims expressed their happiness over warm reception in Pakistan.

The pilgrims will visit various Gurdwaras and other Sikh holy places during their stay in Pakistan.

The government of Pakistan has issued visit visas to 3319 Sikh pilgrims on the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.

Special arrangements and strict security measures have been taken for the three-day event that will begin from Sunday (tomorrow).
