KARACHI: A Sindh Assembly session will be held today after a gap of two days. Discussion will be completed on the adjournment motion passed regarding the deaths taking place in Thar.

Sindh Assembly’s session will be held today, in which discussions and debates pertaining to the adjournment motion passed by the opposition on the dismal situation of Thar will be completed. During the previous sessions, discussions had been held on the opposition’s adjournment motion regarding the matter of child deaths in Thar.

The House will also be informed about the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill. Debates and discussions will also be held on the arrest as well as subsequent confessions of Uzair Baloch. The opposition is expected to show a stern reaction in the Assembly.

Lyari gang-war leader Uzair Jan Baloch was arrested on Saturday by Rangers personnel from the outskirts of Karachi. He is expected to make sensational revelations about the murder of Khalid Shahanshah, the top security guard of slain former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
