Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged the federal government to implement the provincial quota of the jobs in federal government departments according to the population ratio of the province.

Sindh Chief Minister in the letter also said that the province’s representation in federal jobs is equal to none and the quota of the federating unit not being implemented properly.

The chief minister expressed his concern over non-implementation of the jobs quota and demanded appointments on the key federal posts from Sindh.

The letter said that the entitled officers from the province should be given their right of posting on the important federal posts.

He also urged for a legitimate number of appointments from Sindh over federal and chief secretaries posts.
