Sindh gears up to block terrorists’ funding

KARACHI: The meeting of Sindh apex committee on Friday decided to impose ban on display of weapons across the province, ARY News reported.

The apex committee meeting reviewed progress on National Action Plan on counter terrorism in Sindh. DG Rangers Sindh, Corps Commander Karachi and other provincial ministers were also present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah agreed to provide 250 cameras for monitoring of by-elections in NA-246 on April 23. The request for installation of cams was forwarded by DG Rangers SIndh.

Presided over CM Sindh, the meeting also decided to block funding of terrorists throughout the province. Those who are financing the terrorists will be dealt with iron hand, agreed the officials.

It also agreed to expedite registration process of religious seminaries.
