Sindh governor does not represent MQM: Altaf

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday said that Sindh Governor Ishrat-ul Ibad Khan represents federation and establishment not MQM, ARY News reported.

In a statement released on Wednesday morning, Hussain maintained that the governor has nothing to do with MQM as he tendered his resignation from the party before ascending to the prestigious position.

“Nine Zero (MQM headquarter) was raided, MQM workers were arrested but he never condemned such acts”, remarked Altaf.

While requesting media to avoid presenting him as a representative of his party, MQM chief clearly said that the governor of Sindh province has no value in his eyes.

Besides clarifying the link between his party and Ibad,  Hussain vowed to lead the party he founded till his last breath.
