Sindh’s Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, criticizing K-Electric’s performance, said that the administration of the power generation company may be arrested if the situation demands.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani also lashed at K-Electric and said that 15 hour power outages are taking place in the provincial capital.
He also held the power supply company for the deaths caused by excessive summers.
Karachi descended into darkness for the fourth time in a week after K-Electric feeders tripped, drawing wrath of citizens.
The fault in the main transmission line triggered a domino effect as power supply to several cities of Sindh and Balochistan were also disrupted.
