Sindh must have authority to appoint chairman KPT, says CM

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has questioned the federal government about Sindh having no authority to appoint chairman of Karachi Port Trust, ARY News reported.

During a meeting with Federal Minister Sikander Hayat Bosan today, the CM argued that Balochistan had the power to appoint director of Gwadar Port, but why the same authority had not been given to Sindh.

He demanded of the government to grant Sindh its due right in this regard.

Earlier, Ambassadors of Denmark and Sweden to Pakistan met Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

The meeting took place at the Chief Minister House in Karachi.

He invited the two countries to invest in energy, road safety and transport sectors in the province. The foreign dignitaries have expressed their interest to invest in the sectors.

Shah presented traditional Sindhi cap and ajrak to the two ambassadors on the occasion.
