Siraj asks Nisar to identify ‘seminaries involved in terrorism’

LAHORE: The emir of Jamat e Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that the 21st Amendment needs to be reviewed, while he also asked the interior minister to identify the ten percent ‘seminaries involved in terrorism’, ARY News reported.

Talking to media after the meeting of JI’s central executive council, Sirajul Haq said that his party stands with the martyrs of Rawalpindi imambargah attack.

He said that Jamat e Islami will observe 2015 as the Year of Peace.

The JI emir lamented that the political system of the country is under the hostage of feudal lords.

Responding to a question, he asked Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to specify the seminaries involved in terrorism, so that the confusion existing between the nation and the madaris could be ended.
