Siraj calls for ‘serious approach for talks’

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami emir Sirajul Haq has said serious efforts were needed to be taken for ‘meaningful’ talks, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media here, he said both the sides – government and protesting parties – feel their talks were meaningless until establishment play its role in the talks, ARY News reported.

He said the 18th constitutional amendment was not being implemented in full letter and spirit.

Siraj said efforts should be made to include Baloch leaders in the mainstream national front.

The central government should set aside its earlier stance and adopt more serious approach towards resolution of the crisis, he said.
