Siraj hopeful about resumption of govt-PTI talks

LAHORE/KARACHI: The emir of Jamaat e Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq has expressed his hopes that talks between the government and the defiant Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) will be resumed, ARY News reported.

Talking to ARY News after Imran Khan’s announcement of his ‘Plan-C’, Sirajul Haq expressed his hopes that the government-PTI talks will be resumed again, while the negotiations process will start from the same point where it ended earlier.

He said that the December 16 call for a countrywide shut down will help resolving issues between the two sides, adding that negotiations is still a better way out for both the opponents.

The JI emir said it will be easier to reach a solution to the issues, if the two sides develop trust in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
