Siraj stresses on talks for resolving political crisis

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has said Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has postponed its protest in Karachi on 25th December and has allowed JI to stage its rally on that day, ARY News reports.

Siraj-ul-Haq, speaking to media in Lahore during an inauguration of a religious institute, said that a tragedy will take place if the ongoing political crisis is not resolved via dialogue.

He said that he was pleased to know that the federal government is ready to hold talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

“The government should hold talks with PTI by setting aside its ego”, he said.

He also said that the nation must know that who were the elements responsible for rigging the general elections of the 2013.

The JI Chief claimed that such weapons were used in the tribal belt which will have effects like Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings.
