Siraj urges KP govt to clear its position on Ehtesab Commission

LAHORE: The emir of Jamaat e Islami (JI) Siraj ul Haq terming the ones involved in corruption as ‘terrorists’ on Monday urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government to clear its position on the issue of KP Ehtesab Commission, ARY News reported.

Talking to media here, Siraj ul Haq said that the accountability process should not be governed by th government, adding that in the country petty thieves are held but those involved in corruption worth billions get away.

He said that no corruption charge was proven against Pervez Khattak, however whatever accountability is conducted it should be based on justice.

The JI chief said his party will protest against increasing corruption and inflation in Lahore on March 23.

During the media talk, Siraj ul Haq made an interesting comment in which he termed corrupt politicians sitting in assemblies to be terrorists of an order higher than that of Daesh.
