Sit-ins caused severe damages to economy, says Ahsan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal has said that the Islamabad sit-ins have caused severe damages to the national economy, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference here, Ahsan Iqbal invited both Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) for holding talks with government to call off the sit-ins.

He said that earlier alliances were formed in the country to topple governments, but today all the political parties stand united to safeguard democracy in the state.

Moreover, the minister appealed the protesting parties not to spoil the Eid of the citizens of Islamabad, only for the sake of their politics.
