Six killed as coaches collide in Kandhkot

KANDHKOT: At least six people were killed and 40 others were injured when two coaches collided into each other in Kandhkot city of Sindh province on Monday (today), ARY News reported.

According to details, the collision between the two coaches took place after the bus driver named Habibullah fell asleep while driving his vehicle.

The dead bodies and wounded persons were shifted to Civil Hospital Kandhkot. Five of the wounded were shifted to a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan whereas six injured passengers were rushed to Jinnah Hospital in Karachi as well.

One of the two buses which collided was heading to Peshawar from Karachi whereas the other was enroute to Karachi from Swat.

Police cordoned the area for the arrest of the bus driver and case has been filed against him.
