Six killed in tragic road crash in Chakwal

PIND DADAN KHAN, Jhelum: At least six people lost their lives in a tragic road crash near in Chakwal, ARY News reported.

The incident occurred motorway near a Salt Range in district Pind Dadan Khan when a passenger bus had a head-on collision with a trailer. Resultantly six people died on the spot while 22 others sustained injuries.

The injured and the dead were moved to hospitals in Bhalwal and Chakwal cities.

The bus was heading to Jhang from Rawalpindi when it met a tragic fate.

Doctors at the hospitals said some of the injured persons were in critical condition. Those killed in the accident were identified as Abu Bakar, Yasir Ali, Ahmed Saeed, Muhammad Arshad and Muhammad Naeem.

Punjab Health Adviser Khwaja Salman Rafique has directed the local administration to ensure better medical treatment to the victims of road crash.
