Six Pakistani universities make it to world's top 800 list

The varsities making it to the list are as follows:

1- National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST) Islamabad

Nust was ranked 501 worldwide, dropping down a hundred slots, from 401 in 2012.

2- Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad

The varsity was placed at 651 in the list. Among Asian Universities Rankings, Quaid-e-Azam University secured 116 slot.

3- Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)

The LUMS ranked 701, also dropping by a hundred positions, from 601 of 2012 rankings. In Asian ranking, the varsity was placed at 161.

4- University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore

The UET Lahore was also ranked 701 worldwide, while in Asian rankings it was placed at 251.

5- University of Karachi (UoK)

The UoK continued to remain at 701 since 2013. The university was ranked 251 in Asian University Rankings.

6- University of Lahore

The University of Lahore was also ranked 701 worldwide.

Meanwhile, 14 universities from India made it to the list of top 800.

The varsities ranked top 10 all over the world are:

1- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

2- Harvard University

3- University of Cambridge

4- Stanford University

5- California Institute of Technology (CALTECH)

6- University of Oxford

7- University College London UCL

8- Imperial College London

9- Eth Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology)

10- University of Chicago
