According to Police, the girl named Pakeeza had gone missing from a wedding hall located at Orangi Town on 25th January. The missing report was filed at Orangi Town Police Station.
The relatives of the girl said that the body of the child was found from the wedding hall’s water tank. The corpse was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.
The family members staged a protest outside the hall and even tried to set fire to it after which contingents of Police and Rangers were called to control the situation.
Police said that investigation has been launched and eight persons have been taken into custody.
