SEHWAN SHARIF, Sindh: A new wave of terrorism unleashed by militants on Pakistan has shaken the optimism over improved security situation, especially after the deadly attack on Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sehwan Sharif on Thursday, killing at least 73 people.
Attacks on places that promote and celebrate peace and harmony were met with strong condemnations on the social media, with some people also questioning the effectiveness of National Action Plan on counter terrorism, widely known as NAP, in the country.
At least 99 people have been killed in terror attacks in last 9 days of this month alone.
Here are some of the reactions of people condemning the deadly bombing on shrine as well as expressing sympathies with the bereaved families.
20 children dead among the 70 people killed so far in #Sehwan. We forgot that we were to never forget APS.
