Protesters demanded the government to provide job opportunities to them and to appoint the ad hoc employees on permanent basis.
They criticized the government for not providing them with jobs despite having all educational credentials.
The demonstrators said they badly struggle to feed their families, being the only bread-winner in the house.
They slammed that billions of rupees funds are issued to public representatives, but the government finds it difficult to pay a few thousand rupees to them.
On the occasion, protesters also tried to enter into Punjab Assembly premises, however they were pushed away by the police.
Earlier on December 3, last year, police had also baton charged the same group of protesters for staging a demonstration in favor of their demands.
