He was addressing a gathering of army officers at Bahawalpur Cantt today.
The army chief said forces can’t take focus away from targeting terrorism in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), adding that security forces are breaking linkage of terrorists in rest of the country.

He reaffirmed that no challenge is insurmountable, saying “Let’s take Pakistan forward.” He said, “Our greatest asset youth must be encouraged and honed.” General Sharif said that peaceful environment in and around Pakistan was the top priority.
