Start of Asia Cup T20 final delayed following rains

DHAKA: The start of the Asia Cup Twenty20 final between Bangladesh and India is seemingly heading for a delay following heavy winds and rains in Dhaka, ARY News reported.

The Sher-e-Bangla stadium plunged into darkness after three of the four floodlights stopped working due to the rains. The big screen was also not working correctly.

The final of the Asia Cup T20 between the two Asian countries is scheduled to begin at 6.30 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

The two-sides will be declared co-champions if the match is cancelled.
