Speaking at weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Aziz said our policy is based on enhancement of trade and economic relations with all the countries including its neighbours.

He said Afghan peace talks had been suspended following death of Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour.

Pakistan’s quest to have good relations with Europe, USA, China, Central Asian States and South Asia is the corner stone of its foreign policy, he added.

He said Pakistan has a strong strategic partnership with China as both the countries have signed 46 billion dollars CPEC agreement.

Under the agreements regional connectivity, communication and energy projects will be set up. He said now China has become the biggest trading partner with value of 19 billion dollars.
