‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ earns praise from Bollywood stars

Kangana Ranaut has established herself as Bollywood’s leading actress with hit films one after the another. The stellar actress, who recently won the National Award for her role in critically acclaimed Queen delivered a surprise hit with Tanu Weds Manu. The sequel to the hit film will release on May 22, however Bollywood’s leading celebs were treated to a screening of the movie and needless to say, all of them were enthralled by Kangana’s performance in the film!

Filmmakers like Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vishal Bhardwaj, Farah Khan and Gauri Shinde, were all praise for the film.

“It’s a fantastic film. It’s a great story and very well-directed. You just watch it. It’s a great film,” Rajkumar Hirani said. Renowned filmmaker Farah Khan was ecstatic and impressed with Deepak Dobriyal’s performance in the film. “The film is outstanding. I loved it. It is so funny. Kangana is awesome in the film. R. Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal are also good. This year Kangana rocks again.”

“Kangana rocks. She is fantastic. It is difficult to decide on one character. She rocked completely. Even if there is a triple role, she will rock,” Gauri Shinde stated.

The film also stars prominent actors Swara Bhaskar and Jimmy Shergill. Tanu Weds Manu was the story of an England based lawyer who comes to Indian in order to get married. On his parents insistence, he gets to meet Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and is captivated by her beauty, Unfortunately, Tanu does not harbour the same feelings towards him and informs him she already has a boyfriend.

Kangana Ranaut’s performance in the movie as well as the light comedy with a romantic touch, made the film a success. Kangana Ranaut’s performance in the movie has earned felicitations from renowned filmmakers who have helmed movies such as English Vinglish and Pk, hence we can expect a great performance!

The film releases tomorrow!
