One of the arrested hitman Rafeeq confessed that he had fired over a bus in Chakra Goth area, killing nine policemen on 12th May 2007 on the instructions of a political party worker.
He further said that he was hiding in Jamali Goth for three years.
Hitmen Jimmy and Kamran alias Kami, who were also arrested from Shah Faisal Colony, are each said to be involved in more than 12 murder cases.
The suspected target killers have also confessed of robbing jewellery shops to fund the political party they were affiliated.
