Ahmed Din, a hitman recently arrested by the law enforcement agencies, spilled the beans before the investigators. He claimed that a network of targeted killings in the city has been operating from the central jail.
The target killer said that he received the orders of murder of a political worker, Ishaq from the jail. Ishaq was suspected of an informer of the Rangers.
Ahmed Din also confessed murder of a couple in the city on sectarian grounds.
He said he also committed a robbery in a mobile phone shop and plundered 1.9 million rupees.
