MQM’s Tariq Mir given bail extension in money laundering case

LONDON: London Metropolitan Police on Thursday extended the bail of Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader, Tariq Mir till mid of July in the money laundering case against the party, ARY News reported.

According to details, Tariq Mir along with his counsel appeared at a police station in central London as the bail granted to him earlier expired today.

London Police questioned the MQM leader for four hours in the presence of his counsel.

Police after questioning Mir extended his bail till mid of July.

Tariq is one of the six people who are under investigation by the London Police on suspicion of money laundering.
