According to sources, taxes are also expected to be increased on shampoos, perfumes, creams, face powder, lip sticks and nail polishes.
The decision will not just affect women as the government is also considering to impose higher taxes on shaving creams and other grooming products.
A source in the Ministry of Finance said that increase in taxes will be implemented by either increasing the regulatory duty or levying a federal excise duty.
The government is also likely to increase withholding tax on new gas connections.
