Teachers’ killing declined education in Balochistan, admits Zehri

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri on Thursday admitted that the killing of teachers and abandoning of the province by some educators resulted in declining the standard of education in Balochistan, ARY News reported.

The statement was made during his address with the students on the occasion of distributing certificates among participants of a communication course organized by the Information and Communication Technology Department.

Felicitating the participants over successful completion of course, the chief minister announced laptops for all of them and Rs 5 million prize for the top two scorers.

He said that acquiring IT education despite lack of qualified teachers is something worth appreciation.

CM Zehri vowed to provide all facilities to students in order to pass on an educated Balochistan to future generations.
