As Iqrar-ul-Hasan and his Sar-e-Aam team were trying to expose a corrupt ASI, officials of the SITE A police station started misbehaving with them.

In a show of violent behaviour, team Sar-e-Aam was manhandled by police officials and their cameras were also broken. Some of the cameras were snatched by the police officials as well.

Team Sar-e-Aam attacked for uncovering police taking bribe

Iqrar-ul-Hasan, the host of Sar-e-Aam, said whilst talking to ARY News:-

“We were just trying to expose the corrupt deeds of one ASI, when police started misbehaving. As is the case always with Sar-e-Aam, we were ready to provide evidence of the official’s misdeeds but the police would not listen. ”

Iqrar also described the ordeal his team went through.

“Our cameras were snatched and broken by the police. We were also beaten up and it was very disgraceful how they grabbed my team members by their collars and dragged them.”

Team Sar-e-Aam had uncovered a scandal in which police officials were involved in letting criminals caught with illegal arms, go scot-free in exchange for bribes.

The only way out of this menace and police terrorism is that our military should take over the control of entire police. “Mark my words” that ‘the police under this democratic system will never ever reform!’

Gen Raheel please form a team of new sincere people who would be responsible to see the entire process of this transition. The sincere retired military personnel are the best option for this task, since they have all the required experience.

Needless to give a suggestion that the reporters must have hidden micro cameras in their pens, sunglasses etc etc. at all times.
