1. Shahid Afridi

Pakistan’s captain in the Twenty20 format, Shahid Afridi can hit the ball with immense power and can turn any game within moments. He played a key role in Pakistan’s 2009 World T20 win.

Known as Mr. 360 for his capacity to strike the ball at any part of the ground, South Africa’s AB de Villiers is one of the most feared when it comes to power hitting. The Proteas’ skipper can snatch matches from the opponents’ grasp with his amazing striking.

3. Glenn Maxwell

Australia’s Glenn Maxwell has made a name for himself while representing different cricketing clubs around the world. Considered a big striker of the ball, he is also good as a spinner and has been playing key roles for the Kangaroos.

4. Virat Kohli

For India’s Virat Kohli, aggression and consistency is the key. He put up consistent performances in the recent Asia Cup Twenty20 to help his side clinch the trophy.

5. Chris Gayle

6. Tillakaratne Dilshan

Tillakaratne Dilshan is perhaps known for his ability to time the ball along with his wristwork and aggression. Inventor of the “Dilscoop”, he is the most senior member in this year’s Sri Lankan World T20 squad.

7. Alex Hales

The English batsman can play shots towards the off side and has been a handy pick for the side in the 20-over format. He has scored 1156 runs for the teams while representing his country in 39 matches with an high score of an unbeaten 116.

8. Corey Anderson

The left handed all rounder burst into the cricketing scene with breaking Shahid Afridi’s then-world record of the fastest century. Since then, the batsman has cemented his side with the help of useful contributions with the bat and ball.
