Ten terrorists arrested in Karachi combing operations

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Friday arrested 10 terrorists during combing operations in different parts of Karachi, ARY News reported.

According to a spokesman of Sindh Rangers, the combing operations were carried out in Bin Qasim and Korangi areas of the metropolis.

The arrested persons are said to be affiliated with banned organizations.

Illegal weapons and ammunition were also seized from the arrested suspects.

It should be noted that law enforcement agencies are carrying out combing operations across the country, including Karachi, on the instructions of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.

Meanwhile, Police carried out door-to-door search operation in Neelam Colony and Shireen Jinnah Colony and nabbed 20 suspected persons.

Police said that weapons were recovered from three arrested men whereas the rest were being questioned.

On the other hand, two street criminals Ajmal and Owais  arrested in a raid in Korangi and four mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

Moreover, police arrested two suspects Amir Rehman and Shaukat from SITE area.
